“Team Stockholm” on TweetMeetup concluded another meetup earlier this week (read more). We had a sizable turn up (I counted 16 attendees) and this was our first meetup with activities. At the venue, in addition to beer and nice people, there were also a number of Boule lanes, Foosball and a ping-pong table. At first I thought that it would result in Boule tournaments but it turned out that the ping-pong table was the center of attention. Most of us hadn’t been playing in ages but almost everyone was eager to try. It was a lot of fun! This might surely lead to more activity base meetups in the future because this meetup was a huge success.

This weekend I also added some minor improvements to the site. Nothing big but some nice additions never the less and something to whet your appetite for the next big additions. We are looking into content management, meetup polls, improvement to the meetup post design, better internationalization and more. But until then there are some small fixes I deployed today for you:

RSS feeds for both meetups and comments:
Meetup feeds

Easier to find the “Add a meetup” option, it is now in your sidebar instead of the option page:

In addition to those i have also made a number of minor tweaks to improve readability on the site (added horizontal rulers, tweaked margins, font sizes and more).

I also want to end this post by thanking @Mike1mb for the mention of our site and wish him the best of luck with his next meetup.
